Bangkok Airways and British Airways to Expand their Codeshare Partnership

16th September 2024 at Bangkok, Thailand – Bangkok Airways and British Airways have signed a new agreement to expand their codeshare partnership to higher level. This collaboration aims to improve customer services by providing seamless connections from London Gatwick Airport to most loved destinations in Thailand and Southeast Asia countries which are operated by Bangkok Airways.

British Airways have plan to resume their direct flights between London and Bangkok later this year 2024. There will be 3 flights per week firstly, then increase to 5 flights per week from January to March 2025.

Follow this new agreement, British Airways will place its flight numbers on Bangkok Airways' routes such as Bangkok–Phuket, Bangkok–Chiang Mai, Bangkok–Samui, Bangkok–Siem Reap (Cambodia), Bangkok–Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and the existing Singapore–Samui codeshare flight. Under this term, passengers may enjoy through checked-baggages services.
